The spring break I began in March has turned in to a loooong break, extending into this summer, and now, I must admit, indefinite. The reason: SCHOOL. I have decided to close my Mind-Body Medicine practice and return to the teaching of writing--and reading. In a few short weeks, I'll be teaching English to ninth and tenth graders at the Early College of Forsyth, a wonderful and innovative high school here in Winston-Salem on the Forsyth Tech Campus. This also means that I'm having to take lots of classes, plan my teaching, and well, you get the idea. These transitions are a lot of work, and this one is taking pretty much all of my reading and writing time. I'm also incredibly excited about the whole endeavor.
I hope one of these days to come back and work on the library--and with all kinds of new creative ideas, but alas for now I must be honest. The library will stay available--as will my writing and healing site--but no new entries for the foreseeable future. I thank everyone for their support and I wish you all a good rest of the summer, an invigorating fall, lots of good books, and a healing place in which to read them---
